Diversity Initiative
Why it Matters
Why does CLMC advocate for a diverse and highly skilled workforce? It’s simple; because it is the right thing to do. A highly skilled and diverse workforce is good for the construction user and even better for the community. Well trained and highly skilled individuals earn excellent wages and benefits. It only makes sense when people earn a good living they are able to buy goods and services and pay for the infrastructure necessary to build communities. That is exactly what the CLMC partnership set out to accomplish. We build communities.
CLMC partners realized a long time ago that career opportunities should be open to all individuals who want to work hard, earn a good living and find a deep sense of accomplishment in what they do at the end of the workday. CLMC partners opened up those opportunities to all people including women and minorities for the over all good of the construction industry and the community. We are proud of our accomplishments in creating a diverse highly skilled workforce and we continually strive to increase our efforts in this area.
